Their mission meets two of the IMPACT requirements: Materials and Charitable Proceeds. 

A Wild Soap Bar’s mission is to craft handmade and natural soaps which contribute positively to an individual and to the planet while raising awareness of the benefits of organically grown botanicals. Their soap bars are made with real ingredients that are safe for all living things. AWSB was first founded by Maggie in 1995 with her interest in native plants which led to the creation of ‘wild soaps’. Now, AWSB is a family business that creates safe and natural soaps from organically grown botanicals. 

AWSB’s products are handmade in their manufacturing facility near Austin, Texas. The raw materials of their products are sourced locally from botanicals which are organic and natural, including pure essential oils, wild herbs, and 100% certified organic vegetable oils. Each product of AWSB’s soaps are plastic-free and are organically-manufactured. They also donate at least 1% of their sales to nonprofits such as Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, United Plant Savers, and Western National Parks Association.
