In hopes to give back to their community, Hobo Hammocks is a portable hammock business founded by Jake Andersen. After spending a period of time in homelessness by choice, Jake realized the real and difficult challenges the homeless face everyday—and he wanted to do something about it. So, he created a hammock business that not only feeds the homeless but also provides them shelter. By upcycling and repairing old hammocks, Hobo Hammocks donates portable shelters to the homeless. Beyond their hammocks, Hobo Hammocks influences a social impact encouraging adventure, outdoor life, and service to the homeless community.
