Indosole’s mission is to provide responsible footwear with high-quality, environmentally-friendly, and low-impact footwear for any adventure of life. With the massive amount of tyre waste, Indosole upcycle indestructible tyres into the durable footwear soles. Established in Singapore, Indosole was founded by Kyle Parsons during a trip to Bali. Kyle bought a pair of sandals with soles made from motorbike tyres—immediately fascinated with the tyre waste issue and wanted to do something about. Thus launched Indosole in 2009 in hopes to repurpose rubber tyres into sustainable footwear. 

Indosole meets a broad social and sustainable impact beyond their products as a certified B Corporation. They meet the standards of ethical social and environmental performance required by a nonprofit. With the transparency with their business, sourcing, manufacturing, and products, Indosole seeks to build honesty with their brand. Made carefully with adult artisans in Bali, Indonesia, the idea for Indosoles originated from Indonesian people as they had been upcycling their tyres into durable footwear .

Indosole’s products and raw materials and consciously sourced from landfills, garages, and gutters from all around Indonesia. With ethical and respectful suppliers, Indosole manufactures their products in Indonesia itself. Moreover, Indosole contributes to service through their products. With each pair of flip flops purchased, three impoverished people are fed. And with each pair of slides purchased, one impoverished person is fed. The incredible work they do is never-ending—Indosole is proud to provide waterproof, cruelty-free, sustainable and ethical commitments to all their products.
