The mission of the 2023 Kirindi Project is to build a self-sustaining school community. Our first focus is to build an adequate school structure that completes all grades of the primary school system (P1-P7). Simultaneously, we will be implementing a health and hygiene awareness program as we construct a new micro-flush toilet system. Lastly, we will explore how to use coffee in the surrounding area as an avenue of sustaining education for the people of Kirindi, empowering future generations.
The first phase consists of building a structure to complete the full cycle of primary school education, (P6/Grade 5) and (P7/Grade 6) to be completed 2023.
A micro-flush toilet offers an off-grid, sustainable, low cost, odor-free private toilet solution that reuses grey water.
